Get Loaded in the Park is NEARLY here. We can smell it, it’s that close!! For everyone who hasn’t yet bought a ticket, this really is your last chance as we’re expecting to be SOLD OUT WITHIN A FEW DAYS. You can either snap up one of the final tickets for the festival only (now priced £45 + BF) or a joint ticket for both Get Loaded and the official after party at Fabric (priced £50 + BF). These are both on sale exclusively through Ticketmaster (see below).

To round things off for another year, this week we bring you the all important A-Z OF GET LOADED IN THE PARK including all the hints & tips you’ll need to make the most out of your day, plus we urge you to go out and buy this week’s BIG ISSUE featuring an exclusive front cover interview with our boys Royksopp and we’ve got a MASSIVE COMPETITION to win a FLIP VIDEO and a PAIR OF VIP TICKETS as part of the bargain!! Get Loaded rolls out the Drum n’ Bass & Dubstep in a big way this year with the only UK Festival show of 2009 from Roni Size’s Reprazent. Pendulum, Chase & Status and Blame all get busy on the decks, whilst Skream & Benga perform live as Magnetic Man. Heavy.

Every one of your festival needs will be catered for at Get Loaded. We have our normal fast-serving Bars, a wide range of food stalls from around the world, plenty of Toilets (extra clean this year with some help from Toilet Duck!), Cash machines and Cigarette stalls. Sorted.

Party animal Felix Da Housecat brings the noize to Get Loaded for the first time, fresh from releasing his hot new album. Where da party at?


We hope you have a Jolly good time at Get Loaded in the Park, but please try and keep the Common as clean as possible. Bins are cool. Rubbish is err, rubbish!

When it comes to a mash-up, Krafty Kuts is the king. Last year he completely blew the roof off the Fingerlickin’ stage, and so this year we’re sticking him on the Main Stage for your raving pleasure! Enjoy.

There’s some seriously sic Live acts to shake it. Laurent Garnier, Booka Shade and Miss Kittin & The Hacker are doing their thing in the Clash Stage, plus get yourselves over to the Main Stage to witness Freeland’s killer new show.

Beat the Queues!! We’ve got 10 entrance lanes at the gate, which means you’ll get in quicker than ever!! Just don’t forget your tickets!!

Norwegian superstars Röyksopp play their only UK festival show of the summer and showcase new tracks from their ‘Junior’ album and cult back catalogue. You seriously don’t wanna miss this!

Our amazing media partners Time Out are co-hosting the Dim Mak stage which is gonna be off the chain! Throw in DJ sets from Felix Da Housecat, MSTRKRFT, The Count & Sinden, Crookers, The Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki and Jr Sanchez, and you have one of the hottest line-ups of the summer all under one roof!



Don’t forget You’ll need all the usual festival gear… tickets, money, sunnies, sun lotion, raving shoes… and oh, some good ol’ fashioned Bank holiday party spirit!

Zzzzz’s.... they’ll be none of this going on thank you very much. I mean, how can you doze off with so much great music to keep you entertained!!?? Have fun peeps!

The Aussies are coming!! Yes sir, the sensational and multi-award winning Sneaky Sound System play live on the Main Stage, leaving Pendulum to mash up the XFM Stage with a one-off DJ Set. Strewth mate!

It’s all about Bank Holiday Sunday on Clapham Common, which as you know means no work on Monday!! Make mine a double…

Techno pioneer Carl Craig will be performing a world exclusive brand new Innerzone Orchestra show live on the Main Stage before Orbital. ‘Bug in the Bassbin’ live accompanied by a string orchestra and live instrumentation… does it get any better than that?


There’s some truly Great British talent to enjoy namely two legendary chaps of the music scene… Rob Da Bank and Tom Middleton. Or put another way, the perfect Main Stage festivals DJs!

High Five’s are in order as this year as we have two fairground rides to spend the afternoon on. Last year’s high-flying Booster will be joined by everyone’s favourite – The Walzter! Probably best enjoyed before dinner!

Don’t miss the Italian invasion courtesy of Crookers and The Bloody Beetroots. Both DJ duos will be serving up a big phat slice of party electro in the Dim Mak stage, and you’re all invited.



Make sure you arrive early folks!! The gates open at 12pm sharp and the action kicks off straight away. Don’t miss a minute of it!!

As ever we’ve got New talent galore at Get Loaded. The future starts here so make sure you try and catch at least 3 of our hotly-tipped acts if you can… MPHO, Telepathe, Goldfish, Miike Snow, Trip, Marina & The Diamonds and We Are Enfant Terrible.

As the day turns to night, it’s ALL about Orbital. After 5 years away, the dance legends are back in the groove and we’re delighted to have them as our official headline act for 2009.

The filthy-mouthed electro star Peaches makes an exclusive outing in the Clash Stage. Her live shows are as notorious as they are infamous and you can expect something extra special from Iggy’s favourite gal.



Get the Underground to Clapham Common, it’s dead easy. Straight down on the Northern Line. Job done!!

VV Brown was the last act to be added to this year’s line-up, and what an addition too! The rock n’ roll loving popstar will be bringing her female touch to the XFM Stage.

Wet Yourself! No, not literally. Get Loaded is teaming up with promoters Wet Yourself to host the Official After Party at Fabric straight after the festival. Simian Mobile Disco are the special guests joining the Dim Mak crew of The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki. Carry on the right way people! Tickets are only a tenner!

Our radio partners XFM have pulled together another epic line-up, but make sure you don’t miss the beats in between all the brilliant acts courtesy of radio mavericks John Kennedy and Eddy Temple Morris.
