Audiosushi News

Verdict: Touchscreen Ipod [released in UK on November 9th, 2007]
[include link]
Audiosushi has had a special sneak preview of the new Apple touch screen Ipod including a chance to speak to Apple's CEO
Steve Jobs.
Audiosushi went to the launch the new touch screen IPod at the Apple store on Regent's Street to see him and the best thing to
come out of Apple in years.
First, the Ipod. One word: Brilliant. A touch screen, gorgeously black, graphics heavy, sleek and very intuitive to use - what's not to
like about it? Only two things to complain about - its not on sale now. And the Iphone which is basically the same thing - will be
tied to O2. Also by the time it reaches these shores, some of the early software problems will also be sorted out - so we predict
another massive Apple hit - just in time for the holidays... see the Apple website for more details... Also as a byproduct - another
one of our favorites, the 80gb Video Ipod, is now a shocking £159!
Verdict: 4 stars

"Renegade" Audiosushi DJ Disastronaut in Time Out Feature on Future Trends in Music

Time Out London has met with Audiosushi to discuss the future of music, blogging and new trends in nightlife....
Audiosushi's co-founder Jeffrey has been featured in a major full-page article in London's Time Out - read the whole story here!

Review: Bungalow 8 [opening]
Audiosushi played the Wallpaper* Party during fashion week at London's new Bungalow 8 club - this is what we thought!
Bungalow 8 is an elegant space, set over two floors, just off St. Martin's Lane. Like its namesake in New York City, Amy Succo's London venture - has involved some of the leading players in London's nightlife and has almost instantly taken the highest of the high ground with just the flick of a Crocodile Birkin. The upstairs bar evokes a confident granduer, beautifully understated.
Downstairs it gets wilder - with horizontal black and white lines, banquets all the way around, a dj booth that's presently at the end of the bar [though they did say its moving], and a very good soundsystem. The downstairs is a bold graphic experiment that makes the slender room [quite like the old Blue Note Hoxton Square space] into a funky graphic den of inquity designed for maximum impact. The barstaff and serving staff - even though it was very early days - were already finding a rhythm and were obviously really enjoying themselves and the huge Wallpaper* crowd. Lots of London faces - including £50 million pound skull man Damien Hirst - appreciated the creations [one of Ibiza's most famous residents Smokin' Jo & I had a lovely fruity concoctions; whilst Infamous Red Light / nude promoter Terry Hart tucked into vintage bubbly; The Horror's Farris went off piste with the music and all went along for the wild ride - as did Audiosushi's main man Disastronaut who played a set that spanned Sheffield electro, rare New York hiphop, german techno and a series of new bootlegs he'd just made for Fashion week - including new mixes of Suioxsee Souix, joy division and The Cramps - all updates to 2007 standards.... Lots of old friends and new - all stumbling out into the dawn after -
Verdict: 5 stars
