The RGBS this sat. at tooting tram and social

After the huge success of our first newsletter (no one unsubscribed) we’re having another go. And what’s more we’ve actually got some news this time and a major party this weekend to tell you about… In fact buy your tickets to said amazing party right now at www.thergbs.com/tickets as they may sell out soon. Be assured it will be a good one cooked in music and seasoned with folly. As well as us there’s the hot as hell Marina and The Diamonds plus electro dogs Fenech Soler & the imperious Heard Choir. Dance on.

Yes we did. We played Glastonbury and it was wonderful. Going on stage there was one of those moments we are going to remember forever and a day. On early before We Are Scientists in the Orange tent we thought no one would be there but as soon as we started playing New House people starting swarming in like Bees. And did they dance? Is the Pope a nazi? See some photos here www.rgbs.com

We launched our first ever website this week at www.thergbs.com. It’s taken a while as we wanted to get it right and not put up a one way mirror where you could see us but we couldn’t see you. We wanted something that people could get involved with and actually use to have fun… So please do go there and use it as as we will be there e-hanging around with i-hoods on for at least a few hours a day, drinking electro-pops and fighting.

So we have now done Glasto, Wireless, Hyde Park Calling, Rockness, Dot to Dot. Some of it Djing for the wonderful Gaymers crew and some of it playing live. Coming up is Lovebox and Bestival. Highlight so far has to be Glastonbury just cos, but Rockness was pissing fun and the views over the Loch are unbeatable. Those Scots know how to party and how to make a lake over millions of years. We’ve had a couple of decent write-ups since these last few gigs. The NME said this:

"The RGBs’ almighty fem-pop hits the eager crowd like an eccentric blitzkrieg wallop – leotard-wearing singer Becky channelling the spirit of just-as-mad pop sensation Robyn through the bass-heavy disco-biscuits beats of their awesome ‘New House’." …. Hmmm

So it’s THIS SATURDAY… Short notice I’m afraid if you didn’t see it on the RGBs Myspace, but jesus hell this is going to be good. For those unaware of the lineup Fenech Soler output such throbbing bass that it gives you a massage and Marina is literally the next big thing. She’s got every record label in the world trying to get off with her songs. And THE HEARD. Quite simply the best choir ever to have choired. If that’s not enough ruddy Blonde Ambition will smash your head off with their Djing. Please come — tickets here TICKETS!!!

Harriet, or as we call her, 110101

Click them, buy tickets, maybe even come to them. These are some of the sickest parties in the hospital. In fact Birdwatching is practically dead it’s so sick. Lovebox is riddled with sickness and Barden’s Boudoir is also sick. Really sick.
