Update 22:32pm Mmr Cookstown remains on 47 strokes per minute ( he's working hard ) we're in french waters - swimming now in darkness ... 16 miles - with 8- miles to go - we're starting to close this down a bit ... He's been in water now for 7hours and 31 minutes
