A Requiem : Richard W. "Dick" WESP 1932-2012
A short Piece for my inspirational music teacher, vocal tutor and choir director. I worked with Wesp from 1983-1986, but as my mother also sung in many of his choirs I perhaps met him as early as 1970. We might not make the trip from England to the funeral - but a public thank you to you and the hundreds of thousands of voices you helped to flourish.
Richard W. "Dick" beloved brother of Shirley (the late Robert) Knipper and Kenneth J. (Karen) Wesp, dear uncle of Keith (Diana) and Steven (Claire) Knipper, Dale L. (Kathy) and Dawn Wesp, also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews. Sept. 18, 2012. Age 80 years. Residence Anderson Twp. Service at Christ Church Cathedral 318 Fourth St. (Downtown) on Mon. Sept. 24, at 11:30 AM. Friends may visit at the Anderson Center 7850 Five Mile Rd. (Anderson Twp.) on Sun. from 3-6 PM.
