A year or two ago hip hop and electro joined together - likely the
result of David Guetta's collabs with US hip hop stars
and then the hip hop stars came looking for Electro producers [and
dubstep ones] to make club based hiphop and Viola!
new genres and club sound created that has now pretty much taken over
the world... The Fridays at the Dogstar are
simple- Party Rock - whatever rocks the party from Choice Cuts DJs -
who busy themselves in the weeknights rocking
the west end - and come South to what some are calling the Brick lane
of South London - Coldharbour lane - the
Brixton market staying open later on Fridays and the Dogstar's own
Pizzaria rocking out Pizzas til 10pm help. Pub prices
all night do too -and to top it off - Free admission before 11pm,
though most of this crowd are indeed fashionably late.
Music: Expect to hear the best of the week's biggest new releases and
ton's of floor fillers mashed up into a perfect
hip hop [and requests welcomed] party electro sound...
