Disastronaut continues to make records and follow his curiosity. This ep continues his exploration of post Dubstep
- we suppose that is the term? - tracks made at 70bpm but drums hitting 140bpm - yet they seem like you can get
lost in the cinematic density. In his seaside studios, with micro electronics - and recently, a huge hole
from a channel storm, this ep and his recent Lps and remixes - churn out at a remarkable pace - 6 LPs this year
alone and over 100 tracks, going on 50 remixes and that doesn't include the work with his brother greg.
Still DJing somewhere in the world every weekend, Disaster makes these records not for peak time, even the warm
up or warm downs, but for the spaces in between, for the headphones and for the downs... This EP was written during
the first of the big Channel storms - studio shaking so much he couldn't record cello, piano and voice parts for
a new concerto that will be performed widely and in LP form for Spring 2011. The storm is still going...
