One of the most beautiful ever days I've spent on beach in Hastings, east Sussex outside the house. Incredible with no planes, no jet noise, no contrails, just sea and occasional car on seafront road... It's a powerful reminder of how much air traffic creates such widespread pollution, noise, visual clutter. This is almost the best advertisement in history for groups like plane stupid, the green party.
