about NEW SOLO LP. "PIANO" BY Jeffrey Louis-Reed - OUT NOW Recorded in London and New-York during November 2025, this new solo piano album presents 25 original pieces - intimate, unplanned, and deeply personal. Opening with the evocative track “Kneisel Hall Prelude”, the record guides the listener through a wide emotional and spatial journey: late-night reveries in urban flats, quiet dawns in city-scape apartments, the soft resonance of keys in empty studios, and gentle moments of reflection amid skyscraper shadows. Memories too. The first track is about time spent on an organic farm and travelling to the local summer-only venue Kneisel Hall, to listen to the summering musicians. The first track does invoke Prokofiev as it was one of the tracks from that time in 1990. Each composition was captured on solo piano ( and violin ) - unadorned, raw, and immediate -preserving the spontaneous energy of the performance, free from edits or overdubs. The result is a deeply honest and immersive listening experience, a piano-only canvas painted with memory, movement, silence, and subtle mood-shifts. Ideal for late nights, solitary listening, introspection or simply drifting - this LP invites the listener to slow down and inhabit its world, note by note. Available now across streaming platforms (Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, etc.), and on physical formats where offered.
