This Weekend's Agenda Picks, Links and Random Things in East Sussex/South Kent @Disastronaut

At this time of year I'm inexorably drawn to the seaside and Sussex where
we landed and sort of stayed - from 1989 to present - of course DJing in London
on weekends - usually south of the River and east London -
and almost everywhere around the world, but I'm always looking to get back
home, into the sea, to boot fairs, fetes and the peak of strawberry picking
& homemade jam making - usually coinciding
with Wimbledon [ and speaking of tennis if you're in South London Roger - Tooting Tram and Social isn't
too far from the action - definitely worth a visit. ]
So in a slightly expanded edition - this is where we might be this weekend
- Londoners - you're always welcome to stay - and its only 88 minutes from
London Bridge [but watch out for the inevitable Sunday engineering works.]

and right now im doing a new Lp so you might end up on record if you like?

have you been to the
Curlew Bodiam
yet? we think its absolutely amazing...

http://www.thecurlewrestaurant.co.uk/

In a previous life, The Curlew Restaurant at Bodiam,
East Sussex was a Coaching Inn where travellers rested their weary, moustachioed heads and warmed their spirits while on rain-sodden route from Hastings to London.

But now, Mark and Sara Colley have given The Curlew
another life.

Just an errant arrow flight from Hastings, stone skim
from Bodiam Castle, mince from Brighton, manicured lawn from Tunbridge Wells, The Curlew is a place where formal food meets informal dining, where the city and country brush shoulders, style meets stile.

Modern British dining for the Modern British diner.
