Although only September we're already tempted to name this one of our Albums of the Year. Hauschka's "Ferndorf" is heartbreakingly good and is equal to the piano explorations of Yann Tiersen, Gonzales, Goldmund, Max Richter, Sylvain Chaveau, and Eric Satie. It is being released by the magnificent Fat Cat Label, home to Gregory And The Hawk, Sigur Ros, Ten Kens and many more.
